Everyone welcome to Nila Sangeet College.This school was established in 1994 to discover and nurture the creative talents of the children of our society. The institution started as Gitanjaly Music Academy with only 2 children in a rented building in a village called Nochima in Aluva in Ernakulam district of Kerala, india ; Mr. T. D. Anilkumar, who is also the founder, is the person who has worked the hardest to reach the international level today. It was the great desire of his father, Mr. TV Damodaran and his mother, Lalitha, that he should become a musician. During the 1990s, 

Anil was the leading  keyboardist of various singing troupes in Kochi and studied at Kalabhavan, CAC  and Sri. Ravindran Master. After graduation,also have  diploma in electronic and computer.  he went on to obtain a Diploma in Instrumental Music from Themswaley University, a Degree in Theory of Music from Trinity College London and a Diploma in Carnatic Music from Annamalai University. Before learning music by birth, he used to present programs on his own. He saw music as greater than soul. He has shown his talent in all fields like music, drama, cinema, dance, painting and literary writing and has used it fully in his field of work. 

In 2011 Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Akademi was recognized and since then the name of the institution was Nila Sangeeta College. Later, this school has become an examination center for various universities. Today, music, dance, acting, mimicry, musical instruments, painting, etc. are trained here according to a purely scientific syllabus. Nilak received the award for the best music school in Kerala on Republic Day 2017, named after the National Center for Arts and Culture under the Central Government. Unlike other institutes, various courses like Degree, Diploma, Special Diploma, Certificate, Grade, TTC, Job Oriented and Crash are conducted in this college. Classes are offered through offline and distance education. 

The most important thing in this institution is the teachers who are experts and have post graduation qualification. Today there are centers in Aluva and Kochi. Also distance education is provided from different parts of the world. Renowned musician Sri Pranavam Sankaran Namboothiri was appointed as the first patron of this institution. The institution is run under a trust with a governing body under the leadership of several artists including Kalabhavan Nawaz and Babu Pallassery. And a live music band for little kids is our specialty. I remember the crises during the covid era with great sadness. Former students of Nila have made their mark in the field of cinema, music, dance and education. We are committed to contribute many talents to the art scene for the next generation. Thanks
